Did you know?
It is normal to gain when you’re pregnant, and it’s healthy. Don’t be frightened by this weight gain, it won’t show during the first trimester (a slight weight loss is even possible if you’re very nauseous). During the second trimester, the weight gain will really start to show, and by the third trimester you’ll be gaining about 1 kilogram per month. Instead of eating more, a pregnant woman should eat better (the additional daily nutritional needs should not exceed 350 calories), which will make the weight easier to lose after the baby’s birth.
To do on a daily basis:
After a pregnancy, most mothers want to lose the weight they’ve put on. Don’t rush into a weight loss program because your body needs time to adjust to its new condition. Work at it progressively: eat a well balanced diet, and reasonable portions during the first three months, and slowly start exercising again. Keep in mind that if you hydrate your skin properly while you’re pregnant, it will regain its firmness and tone faster. After the baby’s birth, you can add a thinning product to your daily skin care routine.
